They had that big interview with Dana White after the Strikeforce acquisition. Even just now, Helwani just posted that big interview with White on the firing of Miguel Torres. It seems Helwani and White are friends and that gives Helwani easy access to speak with Dana White and many other fighters almost instantly. The giant from Maine was not only a stylistic nightmare because of his size, but he also brought the intensity that few fighters in the division had at the time.
